Terms of Service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms govern the use of this website and of the ARGUS platform operated by ARGUS Intelligence Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("ARGUS", "we"). By using either, you accept them.

1. What these terms cover

ARGUS is supplied to organizations under a separate written agreement that sets out scope, pricing, service levels and data handling. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins for that client.

These terms cover the public website at activateargus.ai, briefing requests made through it, and any use of the platform not otherwise covered by a signed agreement.

2. Who may use the platform

Access is granted to named people at a client organization. You must be authorized by that organization, be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and keep your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Connected accounts

ARGUS works by connecting to accounts you already hold, such as a mailbox or a meeting platform. By connecting one you confirm that you are entitled to grant that access and that doing so does not breach your own obligations to your employer or to anyone else.

You can disconnect at any time from the account provider. Access ends immediately when you do. What ARGUS does with data it already holds is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Human authority over actions

ARGUS proposes. People decide. Drafts, recommendations and next steps are produced for review, and an outgoing message is sent only after a person at the client organization approves that specific message. Responsibility for what is sent, and for decisions taken on the strength of a recommendation, stays with the client.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Intellectual property

The platform, its interfaces, models, prompts, documentation and the ARGUS name and marks belong to ARGUS Intelligence Systems, Inc. Nothing here transfers ownership of them.

Client data stays the client's. Mail, meetings, documents and the analysis derived from them belong to the client organization. We claim no ownership of it and do not use it to train generalized AI models.

7. Accuracy, and what the output is not

ARGUS summarizes, infers and drafts. Its output can be incomplete or wrong, and it reflects the data it was given. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified adviser or for reading the underlying source.

Decisions remain yours, and important ones should be checked against the evidence the system links to.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service available and may take it down for maintenance, updates or security. Features may change. Where a signed agreement sets service levels, those apply.

9. Third-party services

ARGUS depends on services operated by others, including Google, meeting platforms and AI providers. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control, and an interruption at one of them can interrupt part of ARGUS.

10. Proactive introductions

ARGUS may propose new ideas, opportunities and business partners to you on its own initiative, based on the data in your deployment. In particular, where what one of your business contacts offers matches what another business needs, or the other way round, ARGUS may suggest an introduction. The other business may be one known to ARGUS Intelligence Systems, Inc., or a contact of another ARGUS client.

Until an introduction is agreed, ARGUS shows each side only a general description of the other: the kind of business, its country, its field and whether it has been in the news. No names, people, messages or documents from your deployment are shown to anyone else. A name is disclosed only after the businesses concerned have signed an introduction agreement, which may include a commission payable to ARGUS Intelligence Systems, Inc. on business that results. You decide whether to take up an introduction, and you can decline any suggestion.

To find these matches, ARGUS compares, within its own systems, what the businesses known in different deployments offer and need. This comparison never gives one client access to another client's deployment.

11. Fees

Fees, billing periods and payment terms are set in the client agreement. This website is free to browse and a briefing request costs nothing.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where use threatens the security or integrity of the service, or where required by law. A client may end their agreement according to its terms. On termination, the deployment and its data are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers and liability

Except where a signed agreement says otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the website and the platform are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where a client agreement sets a liability cap, that cap applies.

14. Confidentiality

Material shared during a briefing, in either direction, is treated as confidential and used only to evaluate whether to work together.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are communicated to client organizations directly. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
